The United Way of Ross County Hosts Annual Campaign Update Meeting on December 15, 2016 from 8-9am at the PACCAR Center
(Chillicothe, OH- December 6, 2016) At the December event, the United Way's Annual Campaign amounts generated from the workplace campaign sectors, which include: Manufacturing, Retails/Services, Community, Health, Education, Professionals, and Public Service; will be updated with the current total amounts pledged and received by the United Way Office. Also, during the event, featured speakers, including Jill Morgan with PPG Industries, will share campaign updates from their successful corporate campaign drives.
At the last update meeting, on November 17, 2016, the United Way had achieved 51.9% of its total goal in received donations. "We feel like we are moving along at a great pace with the 2017 Annual Campaign Drive" stated Kelli Yeager-Nelson, CEO of the United Way of Ross County. “We are grateful to all the community members, the individuals and the corporations, that contribute to the United Way of Ross County each year." Yeager-Nelson continued, "These partners, through their generous donations, help fund programs that make a true difference in Ross County. We are looking forward to updating our community with the newly achieved totals at the December 15th meeting.”
The United Way of Ross County supports programs and community initiatives in the categories of Education, Health, and Financial Stability. Our stated mission is to mobilize resources to improve lives and strengthen our community. And, our organizational vision is of a stronger community of engaged stakeholders collaborating to create sustainable, positive change and empower people to achieve their potential. Currently, the United Way of Ross County supports 40 Community Programs with 26 Nonprofit Agencies.
