The United Way of Ross County has launched its 2025 Dine United campaign; a revamped initiative aimed at raising funds to support local community partners.

From Feb. 7 through March 18, 16 local bars and restaurants will be partnering with the United Way to donate a portion of their proceeds to the campaign, according to an announcement from the agency.

Fifty West Brewing Company is among more than a dozen local businesses participating in the 2025 Dine United campaign through March 18.
“Dine United is an exciting way for our community to come together, support local businesses, and give back to those who need it the most,” said Trevor Clark, community engagement coordinator for the United Way of Ross County, in announcing the kickoff. “We are thrilled to recognize and celebrate the generosity of our community partners, and we hope the Golden Chef Award serves as a fun and inspiring competition for all involved.”

The campaign encourages community members to dine out at participating restaurants, knowing that every meal or beverage will help raise resources for those facing financial hardship, housing instability and food insecurity in Ross County.

How Dine United works
When visiting a participating restaurant on their selected “Dine United” date, a portion of the bill will be donated directly to the United Way of Ross County or the agency will receive donations through specific items being sold for the Dine United campaign.

Funds raised will directly benefit United Way’s partners and programs aimed at improving education, financial stability and health for families in Ross County.

On Feb. 24 $1 from every drip coffee sold at Paper City Coffee will go to United Way of Ross County.
In addition, the United Way of Ross County will present the first annual Golden Chef Award to the restaurant that raises the most funds through Dine United. The award will recognize the business that demonstrates exceptional commitment to the community and the spirit of giving back.

The dining campaign aligns with the United Way of Ross County's mission to create lasting, positive change in the lives of those who need it most.
