With the price of groceries and rent rising throughout the United States, some might struggle to make ends meet. But are there multiple resources throughout Ross County that can help those in need.
Ross County Community Action:
This nonprofit hosts a series of recourses including Head Start and Early Head Start Program, Home Energy Assistance Program, Weatherization programs and a food program.
The Ross County Community Action also has recovery support programs and housing and shelter programs.
Good Samaritan Food Pantry:
Ross County hosts Stuff the Bus school supply drive at Walmart
Multiple organizations are banding together for the 19th annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive.
Suggested supplies for the drive are objects such as backpacks, writing utensils and paper.
The event will be 2 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Walmart at 85 River Trace.
The drive will be hosted by United Way of Ross County, Ross County Community Action and Project School Tools of Ross County.
