The United Way of Ross County has reached its annual campaign goal of $750,000, according to an announcement.
The campaign, which runs through April, achieved its target early thanks to the generosity of local businesses and individuals.
The United Way of Ross County has launched its 2025 Dine United campaign; a revamped initiative aimed at raising funds to support local community partners.
From Feb. 7 through March 18, 16 local bars and restaurants will be partnering with the United Way to donate a portion of their proceeds to the campaign, according to an announcement from the agency.
At 24 years old Trevor Clark is helping those at his job with United Way of Ross County.
He said this position is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity for him and he is proud to be able to shed light on the ways non-profits help the community.
"I am really lucky to have been granted the chance to create positive change," said Clark.
The United Way of Ross County has worked to increase the quality of life for citizens in the area in one way or another since the 1940s. Now with a new president and CEO, and a team filled with experience, the organization is working even harder to help those in the community.
