Carver Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the residents of Ross County through youth development, family enrichment, nutrition, and health and wellness programs. Our mission is to create positive change by providing essential services and opportunities that uplift individuals and strengthen our community.
Meet Our Community Impact Partner: The Assistance House
The Assistance House of Ross County is dedicated to supporting working-class individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our board members, and the hard work of our staff and volunteers, we are able to offer more programs than ever before.
In addition to rent and utility assistance, we provide a back-to-work program, a back-to-school program, help with eyeglasses, as well as diapers and wipes for families in need.

With the price of groceries and rent rising throughout the United States, some might struggle to make ends meet. But are there multiple resources throughout Ross County that can help those in need.
Ross County Community Action:
This nonprofit hosts a series of recourses including Head Start and Early Head Start Program, Home Energy Assistance Program, Weatherization programs and a food program.
The Ross County Community Action also has recovery support programs and housing and shelter programs.
Multiple organizations are banding together for the 19th annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive.
Suggested supplies for the drive are objects such as backpacks, writing utensils and paper.
The event will be 2 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Walmart at 85 River Trace.
The drive will be hosted by United Way of Ross County, Ross County Community Action and Project School Tools of Ross County.
